I am a Washington State Licensed Mental Health Counselor and was a Board Certified Art Therapist for twenty years. Over the last twenty-five years, I have provided counseling, training, and consulting services in the areas of youth and family services as well as adults struggling with addiction and mental health issues. I am a cisgender Jewish Queer woman. For the last thirty years, I have taught and studied diversity, equity and inclusion work. For eight years I taught in Antioch University’s Master of Arts Therapy program. In 2026, I will teach the introduction to Human Sexuality class for the Yeshiva University’s Masters in Counseling Program. I am currently training at California Institute of Integrative Studies to be a Sex Therapist. I am a Level 2 practitioner of Pat Ogen's Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Institute work. She is with me in the office most days. Sometimes she's curled up on her mat, or she may come to be with you on the couch. She's always ready to get a treat. Mochi provides animal-assisted therapy, as she has not been given the training that would make her a therapy animal. Most people find her presence calming and grounding. Mochi knows that the world is an intense place, and she can help take the edge off even the worst days. Our suite has the three spots in the north row of the parking lot marked reserved. There is also parking along South Lucile Street. The entrance to Suite A is on South Lucile. It is up a small flight of stairs on the East side of the building. The first door is the entrance to the waiting room, I will provide you with the key code. The building is one block from a #7 bus stop and a healthy 15-minute walk from the nearest Light Rail station. The building is not wheelchair accessible.
